A while back I travelled to Nagambie (country Victoria) for a family session, and I asked Kath to think about what defined them as a couple, and then all of them as a family unit. What locations could we shoot in that would have meaning and impact for them?
Kath provided a fantastic brief which included — a) they met at the Speedway (a love for all of them), b) Alan has been a volunteer with the CFA since he was a teen, and the boys love being down at the Station, c) their wedding photos were taken at Tahbilk Winery (where Alan also worked for many years), so shooting there would feel like an extension of their wedding day.
The beauty of a small country town is close proximity to everything and no traffic – so we were able to drive around, incorporate everything and have lots of fun in the process
Kath and Alan and their two boys are special and adorable. Simply… just beautiful people. x
